Great read

I am doing a lot of travelling and this is a wonderful read on the KINDLE whilst waiting for planes in the airport or alone in the hotel in the evening. I started with book 5 in the series and liked it so much I decided to buy the whole series. At home, I prefer a real book. But on the road, the weight makes that impossible. Weber writes excellent light reading. Fully satisfactory in all respects.

Good, But Not Excellent

The first of this series I had the pleasure to read was the middle volume, THE WAR GOD'S OWN. I found it to be well written and interesting and different enough from the run of the mill product to be really of note. After that, I read the first volume and now I have just finished the third. It too is well written but does not have the excitement or the humor of the second. It is about on par with the first volume. This may be disappointing but it should not be. Everything cannot be a masterpiece and even Weber's lesser works are VERY well done.

In this installment, our Hradani champion is called upon to go to the Sothoii Kingdom, the hereditary enemies of his own people. He is called upon to foil yet another plot the a coterie of the gods of darkness and this time it will be more difficult because they are working under false colors. It is also more difficult because the political situation with regard to his race as well as that of his allies is highly complex. The Sothoii love the Coursers and both hate the Hradani. That makes it difficult when the Champion come to save your people is a hated hradani and it gets weirder when the champion gets bonded with a courser. It also makes for a few smiles.

Its not his best work but it is enjoyable.

She has regularly presented papers at International Studies Association Conventions in San Francisco.

About the Author

Born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Mike Johnston has had a long and notable career coaching hockey, including coaching and assistant coaching for the Vancouver Canucks in 1999, Canadas National Mens Team, the Canada Selects, Canadas 1998 Winter Olympics team, Canadas junior team, Team Canada at the World Championships from 1995 to 1998 and again in 2007 as well as the University of New Brunswick mens Varsity Reds hockey team, where he was 1994 coach of the year. Mike was an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Kings from 2006 to 2008 and is currently the head coach and general manager of the WHLs Portland Winter Hawks.

Ryan Walter played 15 seasons and over 1,000 games in the NHL. Drafted second overall by the Washington Capitals in 1978, he went on to win a Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens and a World Championship medal with Team Canada. He finished his playing career with the Vancouver Canucks and was an assistant coach for the Canucks during the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons. Ryan is an acclaimed international speaker and leadership trainer, entrepreneur and television broadcaster, and is committed to ""inspiring the hungry spirit.""

Excellent Book.

The book is really good if you read completely and follow accordingly. It covers the practical aspects of Job Hunting .

Getting a First Job has always been an issue for job Seekers, specially for new graduates. There are a bunch of factors that can make or break an interview. Knowing how to Find a Right Company & How to handle yourself in different interview scenarios can do wonders.

I am very impressed on the tips and insights on this book. They are quite helpful for Finding a Right Job & A Right Company was quite helpful for Job Seekers.

It's a wonderful and engaging read that can be understood by any audience because of the simplicity of the writing style. Filled with many examples, this book tells of the actions every job seeker must take to successfully land the job that suits their needs, interest and personality. From using job boards to search for job openings to the way a person must carry himself/herself at a job interview, An Expert's Guide to Your Right First Job says it all.
