this book has an amazing amount of information in it. the only drawback is that you cannot find what you are looking for. very little is indexed, and i do not want to spend the time it would take to page through the book and find it.

About the Author
Roger Bradfield studied at the Minneapolis School of Art, the Academie Julian in Paris, and the Heatherly School of Art in London. He has headed his own commercial art studio, written and illustrated award-winning children's books and created art for both movies and television.

Bradfield was born in White Bear, Minnesota, in 1924. He launched his career with the advertising agency Batten, Barton, Durstine and Osborn in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He then spent several years working in England and France, where he did humorous illustrations for Punch and Good Housekeeping magazines. He returned to the U.S. and opened his own commercial art studio in 1953. Among the many awards garnered at this stage of his career was the prestigious National Fashion Academy Gold Medal for his work in package design.

A successful creator of children's books, he has won awards for his writing and illustration in this field and has had his books chosen as Junior Literary Guild selections. Bradfield is perhaps best-known for writing and illustrating the comic strip Dooley's World, which was syndicated world-wide by King Features.

Upon retiring in 1988, Bradfield has been able to spend a great deal of time painting - mostly in watercolor. Since then he has sketched in Greece, Norway, Portugal, Italy, France, Spain and Mexico, gathering subjects for his paintings. He says, "When someone looks at one of my paintings I want them to get the impression that I had fun doing it and that I did it almost without effort. That's really the hardest part - making it look easy.

When asked of what he was most proud Bradfield answered easily, "My kids. There are five of them and they are all happy, successful and well-adjusted. More importantly, they love one another...and each has found a wonderful mate." When asked what he valued the most in life, he replied, "Same answer - my kids...along with my wife, Joan. I have absolutely no doubt that she is the sweetest, most agreeable person in the world."

This is my all time favorite children's book. I get it for each kiddo in my family and my friends families. Love all the Jolly Roger Bradfield books. As my sister is about to have a new little munchkin - I will be ordering it again. Love the Flying Hockey Stick too. You really can't go wrong with any of these books.

This was my brother's favorite book as a child and the copy that we had was very beat up. I bought this for his twin 4 year old boys because I wanted them to share some special memories talking about daddy's favorite book! Can't wait to give it to them!

Amusing.

Dumbfounded by this sophisticated form of magic trick. At some point I find mentalism very creepy and dangerous. If used in the hands of wrong people it can harm people instead of amuse them with your skills. But to not quickly judge those who practice and use this, I decided to discover what mentalism is about. I fairly learned key things about the topic. And rested my case on the following: first, this book removed my old/uninformed judgement about those who use it. This skill can be used by anyone who has superior mind skills. The most basic mentalism skills can also be used for different occupations in different industries. Second, mentalism is not only for mere tricks, it is the ability to pass tricks as part of real human ability. So, if you would like to be the next David Blaine or Banacheck, be sure to check out this book and learn something valuable!

Roy Harrison OBE is Queen Elizabeth II Birmingham Centenary Professor of Environmental Health at the University of Birmingham. In 2004 he was appointed OBE for services to environmental science. Professor Harrison’s research interests lie in the field of environment and human health. His main specialism is in air pollution, from emissions through atmospheric chemical and physical transformations to exposure and effects on human health. Much of this work is designed to inform the development of policy.

Having just started my own small business, this book really provided the insight and perpective I needed on ways to structure my enterprise.
What particularly appealed to me was Diane's style and approach. Too many books of this nature don't create a comfortable and readable format that makes intimidating information like this understandable and easy to digest.
Her five steps to financial freedom helped define for me what income is, how to create a good team to position myself for success, and the best ways to evaluate the progress.
Same with the 3-step tax code, which sums up the reams of government-speak tax laws on regulations, rulings and procedures.
The book is a great compliment to the Rich Dad series. Kiyosaki walks the talk by having Diane on his team.

A Path So You Can Work For You

It's Not How Much Money You Make, It's How Much Money You Keep.
The title of this book is accurate, and it could have also been entitled, "Loop-Holes Of Those With Common Sense." There are numerous advantages available to those who take the risk and have the creativity and fortitude to do something on their own. These people are compensated for it if they educate themselves and IF they succeed. And on the contrary, being an employee is for most people. Much less control but some security, the routine of the comfort zone, and a familiar role defined within the job and confines of a corporate or governmental job. But today, for the employee, is there job security? Is there a routine and comfort zone? Will your job be there for you every morning? And, when it's not, will it be gone by your choosing or your employers?
After only a few chapters we'll once again be reminded of the futility of being a W-2 working stiff, perfunctorily accepting the crumbs that are left over after taxes. This book will be most beneficial to people who have recently, or have now just started to change, the way they think. Experienced small business folks, entrepreneurs, and MLMers, will likely (but not necessarily) already have most of this information down.
The premise of "Loop-Holes" provides us with the facts: since the 1943 federal tax law tragedy Americans work, pay taxes, earn, then spend. All in that order. After taxes and paying expenses, what's left for the middle class person who works as an employee? Ask yourself how much YOU have left.
